I want to make the decision myself if I think something is decent or not. If I see or hear something I dont like or agree with, guess what? I wont watch or listen to that program anymore.<br /> <br /> We dont live in a communist country. The good ol USA is supposed to be free. Placing restrictions like this on the people is taking away a freedom that the country was founded on.<br /> <br /> If people are so worried about what their kids watch, dont let them watch tv at all. At the very least be a good parent and regulate what your kids watch. People know what stations show kid friendly shows. If it's a channel like Cartoon Network, it's pretty obvious what time slots you dont want your kids to watch.<br /> <br /> Censorship should be up to the parents, not the government. While I am not fan of the swearing and direction cable TV is going, I certainly do not want the FCC and specifically any influence of George Bush telling me what I can and cannot watch. <br /> <br /> I think that a non-bias organization needs to be put into place to handle this, not the FCC for now.
