Loved this article.
Looks like the PS3 will be priced around $300 afterall. I just wonder if Sony will introduce multiple versions of the PS3 like Microsoft will for the Xbox 360.

I don't think the PS3 will be THAT cheap...

Blu-ray at that time will have just come out. If you recall, just stand alone DVD players emerged at around $400-500. This is a Blu-ray player, plus a technilogical gaming wonder w/ a hard drive, AND multiple display capabilities (meaning it has 2 hard working video cards presumably). If I had to guess I would sum up these components to be , at the very LEAST, around 600 dollars. Console creators need to make GAME consoles, not try to take over our living rooms. Serious electronic people aren't going to use a gimmicky video game station to run their movies, no matter how capable it may be. I admire nintendo for doing just that, but shake my head at the sheer lack of technology that is potentially in the Revolution. It would be a huge failure for Nintendo and its fanboys if after a launch hiatus of 1 year, the Revolution STILL had less raw physical power than the XBOX 360. Indeed the next years will be quite interesting in the once Nintendo dominated gaming world.
