Now ever company is offering a free PVR and there just is not a compelling enough of a reason to pay for the TiVo features. <br /> <br /> Just in order to stay afloat they are trying to sell advertising and still charging their customers (who are leaving in flocks). Should they compete with the Comcast's of the world? IMO that would be way too much of a risk and investment. I think they should sell their company now while its still worth something and move on.
