Think more then just media extender! $200 for a modern gaming console (although hopefully in a year or two a newer version is out!) is such a good price. It's cheaper then the Wii!

The only thing that sucks is that it doesnt have a hard drive, but just go buy one.

I'd prefer a PS3, but it's double the price.

It is tempting, but I already own a computer that exceeds the X360 in gaming performance, and can hear my music from the other end of the house already (just a need the remote to work that far away) :)

I think I'll skip it and see if anything better comes along, maybe the Xbox 720

So I take it you have 3 of them? :)

For $200, the Xbox is a sweet system. It plays DVD's, works as a media extender and still plays games. It's cheaper than the Wii and makes perfect sense.

What's not to like?

Its unreliable and sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Its the perfect media extender for dumb or poor people.
