After having seen the very beginning I knew this would be a pretty bad article. “For the last several years, I've often wondered if the companies competing with Apple in the MP3 player space were blind, deaf, and dumb.” The only reason Apple has made it where they have is because of being stylish. Otherwise they make a pretty miserable product; their ipods could never even compete until their most recent lineup, and it's still not really up to par. The Zune isn't that great, but it's at least a lot better than an ipod; and to think either may be half as nice as any Creative or Archos player is just plain blind.

I have the Archos 404 and it requires 2 different plug ins to do everything (29 Euro for each plug in) but after that annoying expense, it's the best. The zune is appealing, but I'm waiting for the next generation (#3) before I'll assume a safe bet to buy. I'm hoping they expand the shareablity and change the way you buy music. Otherwise, it will likely be my next player (unless I buy another Archos with WiFi and a built in camera).

Yeah!!! go zune (i have both archo's and zune)
note:not sure witch but 1 of the archo's players requires a wifi plugin and dvr dock station is around $100
