A newly released behind-the-scenes featurette from Activision takes a peek at Sledgehammer Games’ approach to telling the story in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The video goes into detail on how the studio goes about capturing actor performances, and how the writers are working with futurists to capture a vision of a world that’s 40 years ahead of the one we know.
We got an early peek at Advanced Warfare on the first day of E3, and came away with a better sense of how the technological enhancements introduced by the story impact gameplay. The soldiers of the future wear powered exoskeletons as part of their uniforms, giving them the ability to perform quick, multi-directional dashes, boost-assisted jumps, Spider-Man-like wall-crawling, and more. Check out our preview for a more thorough rundown.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare comes to PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles on November 4.
