Advanced Warfare takes some ambitious steps in a new direction with regards to the series-standard lightning-fast FPS gameplay. The story’s future-world setting opens the door to equipping every soldier with a powered exeskeleton, referred to in the game as “Exos,” that enables boost-assisted jumps, slides, dashes, and ground pounds, among other things.
All of this works its way into multiplayer, along with a variety of new approaches to level progression and custom class building. It’s all laid out here in this multiplayer reveal trailer, so give it a peek.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare comes to PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles on November 4, 2014.
