Your fear controls the soundscape in Alien: Isolation

Read our full Alien: Isolation review.

Alien: Isolation features a dynamic soundtrack, which is a fancy way of saying the musical score changes based on what’s happening on the screen. The very act of creeping slowly down a dark corridor while a Xenomorph stalks you from the shadows brings a change in the melodic mood, then your sudden (and poorly conceived) urge to dash for the nearby airlock changes it again. This new featurette takes a peek out how the game’s sound design comes together.

Alien: Isolation comes to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and Windows PCs on October 7, 2014.
