Monolith Productions’ Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor follows the ranger Talion as he sets off to face the armies of Mordor on a quest for revenge. There’s just one problem: Talion is dead. Slain by Sauron’s forces while guarding the Black Gates of Mordor at the start of the game, the ranger is resurrected and handed his task by Celebrimbor, a long-dead elf who bestows his charge with abilities similar to those of a Nazgul.
In the game, voice actors Troy Baker and Alistair Duncan bring Talion and Celebrimbor to life, respectively. This new featurette from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment sits down for a chat with the two men as they describe how closely their roles required them to work together. You get gameplay footage at different stages of development mixed with shots of mocap sessions and talking head interviews with the two men.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor comes to PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles on September 30, 2014.
