This is an excellent headset in many different ways. However, since the review already pointed out the goodies about this headset, I shall talk more of the ‘bad’ side.
1) Expensive. It’s really darn expensive. It’s not often someone would fork out 200+ for a headset when that can easily nab you a good 2.1 speaker system. Or maybe even a 5.1
2) You can’t remove the headset, and that is really terrible. Why? This headset offers stereo jacks without the need for USB. Hence naturally, you would want to bring this baby out with your MP3 player. As you would be able to tell clearly from the pictures, the mic is very obvious.
3) The bass is quite weak. To compensate, you’ll need a decent sound card. Onboard sound just don’t cut it.
Regardless of those disadvantages, it is clear that this headset great in it’s own rights. If you simply want to jump into a game with an awesome headset, this is the one for you.

I got this headset a month ago and I never regret buying it. Even though I had to buy a new sound card, Creative Labs X-Fi mX Xtreme Gamer, because my onboard Realtek HD simply didn’t keep up with PC350 :). Now I can enjoy crystal clear sound and perfect mic.
On the other hand, if I start listen to some D’n'B music instead of metal…well it simply needs quite a bit of bass boost. Actually, that wouldn’t be problem, but when I try to increase sound volume it starts to make some murmur noise. But that’s for extreme volume.
Second con for me would be that it’s difficult to adjust headphones perfectly onto my ears. It seems that they lack enough pressure.
But those are just details, not that important for me. PC350 is the very best sound experience for me. When in-game, I just can’t complain. That’s the way it is.

Since I’ve had this headset I haven’t looked back. Almost everyone I know says “Did you buy a $210 buck headset?” and what I do is hand them the headset as it’s playing music and all they have to say after that is ” I WANT ONE” :D.
PRO
This has the BEST sound quality I have ever heard. Better then my surround sound for my TV :D ( beat that parents)
I don’t know what people are talking about for weak bass. All I did was go into the sound options and jack that up and it sounds perfect. Not to mention I have on board sound on a P45 MOBO :P.
No need for a sound card really.
CONS
Only one, the cost XD. after buying this thing it almost left my pay check to nothing :O. Good thing I got a discount from where I work ;)

I must say I was skeptical at first. I used to be like everyone else, you know MP3 earphones and all, until I started upgrading to Headphones since my ears are sensitive and they where cutting my ears. My friend, who is a DJ himself, sold me his Sennheiser HD 215 Dynamic Stereo Headset. Which, by the way, is amazing on it’s own. So you can see why I was skeptical that a pair of these would be as good as my original. But I needed a Headset with a microphone for gaming. I already forked out around $4,000 for the best of the best, graphics, audio, screens, stereo, and PC. I custom build it to be the best and it is. So I figured, why skip out now I’ll fork out the $220 for the headphones. As I plugged them in and turned on the music, I was taken back, they were breath taking. My Sennheiser HD 215 have quality, above and beyond, but the bass is stingy and so I gave no “pumped up” feeling. These Sennheiser PC-350 rival that of my original headphones in quality and beat them with bass. Now granted what everyone says is true the bass is a bit stingy as well…but that can be fixed by setting your audio and such, and it drastically improved it for me.
Now as everyone says, they are bulky, but if you are the type of person who doesn’t care and, like me, lug around a pair of Sennheiser HD 215 which are in fact bigger by a small amount than the PC-350, you couldn’t care less as long as they are a quality in which to appreciate. If so, then you can lug them around. These PC-350′s for me will be a gaming headset to keep and not look back, and my HD215′s will be for outside us (mainly because they don’t have a microphone on them)
As a person who is a harsh critic of headphones myself I’ll give point in the form of pro’s & con’s
PROS:
1) Quality To Admire
2)Microphone Crisp And Clear As Can Be
3) Comfortable (Been wearing them for 5 hours straight and counting, lol)
4) Surround beat out my 5.1 stereo that cost my $100 MORE than my headphones…*cries*
Cons
1) Pricey
2) Bulky
3) Cable is a bit long
However, in saying the cons let my excuse them by saying:
First off…the cable can easily be ignored by setting it on your lap, lol.
Secondly, if you are like my who 1) doesn’t care how bulky it is as long as it’s good and 2) already have bulkier headphones, then it doesn’t matter
And lastly…Yes they are $220, but it is a Price that is well spent, I have and will never regret forking out the $220 for these headphones that are of the best in Gaming.

I love this headset for the same reason as everyone else does. My only problem is the cord with with the volume control witch hangs out way too low (like 2 feet) and always gets tangled on my chair. Well after 9 months my cord broke in between the headset and the volume controls! Now I have to send it for repair. Wish the volume control was a little bit higher and lighter too.
Besides, I love this headset, it’s just very disappointed they broke so early! My HD 470 lasted me like 4 yrs until I had to change the cord and after that another year before the left side stopped working .
