Cadillac’s ELR plug-in hybrid takes the chassis and powertrain of the Chevrolet Volt and warps it in the sheetmetal of the Converj concept car. Like the Volt, ELR has a 1.4-liter four cylinder engine that generates electricity for the batteries. It can travel up to 35 miles on a single charge, and takes 4.5 hours to recharged from a Level 2 (240 volt) charger. This Cadillac may be based on a Chevy, but that styling just might be the perfect package for showing off General Motor’s plug-in hybrid tech. You can read more about the 2014 ELR here.
