  4. Jason at 12:35am 30th June 2010 use the "Dock Blocker" App if you have problems with magnetic cases.

  7. Tracy at 4:10pm 27th February 2010 Where can I get the Seidio Horizontal Leather Case? I can't find that exact one even on the Seidio website. It looks like the Droid fits in it even with the body glove cover.
  8. waynestephens at 2:11pm 24th December 2009 Thanks ...got the ringtone thing worked out. and found out that the Droid doesn't support voice dialing with a bluetooth .
  9. waynestephens at 2:09pm 24th December 2009 Thank you ...that solved that problem.
  10. Sierra at 1:58pm 24th December 2009 To do individual ring tones simply go to the contact that you want to have a ring tone, click the "menu" button on the bottom of the phone and click on options, one of them is to do a special ringtone
  11. Sierra at 1:56pm 24th December 2009 There is a widget you can get from the app market for free called dockrunner It does the exact same thing as the phone does when its on the dock BUT its free. Saves you the thirty bucks.
  12. Jonathan at 5:05pm 23rd December 2009 You may want to check the motorola droid support / faq page at http://motorola.com/support/droid They have very detailed instructions on how to use custom ringtones and assign them to individual contacts. They may also have information on bluetooth. I will admit that setting up custom ringtones is less than intuitive.
  13. waynestephens at 3:28pm 23rd December 2009 I love the Droid but can't get it to voice dial through the blue tooth also it doesn't seam to have the ability to assign ring tones to to certain phone numbers.... am I missing something ???
  14. androidphones at 9:41pm 15th December 2009 I think you are forgetting this case http://motorola-droid-cases.com/motorola-droid-...
I have it for a week and it really rocks!

  16. djTraumatix at 4:40pm 15th December 2009 the droid has this app/widget built in, but only when i have it plugged into the media dock. i don't know if it's something you can call up like "car home" app.
  17. xsylus at 1:33am 11th December 2009 kbaumga1 can you enlighten us as to what case you have? I find it hard enough to locate a case I like the design of let alone dealing with this stupid issue. You'd think there would be away to just disable the docking mode on the phone so that magnets don't effect it. I think the docking station is overpriced since it doesn't even connect to the computer via USB it's only for charging the phone. I had a charging station for my last phone and it only cost me $6.
  18. knoxxdroid at 9:51am 10th December 2009 the phone in the pic probably isnt the droid, but in fact the Milestone.. Guessing from the 'Hamburg' celcius temperature which is located in the UK.. i take it that widget comes with the Milestone.. i want that screen too =
  19. kimeee at 1:21pm 9th December 2009 the image that accompanies the multimedia desktop charger (ie: last entry) has a widget that i want but not sure what it's called... anyone know?
  20. O. Bernal at 8:07am 5th December 2009 Good idea with this one. Now I wouldn't take my DROID phone to the dephs of 015 FT, but it's nice to have on the beach to keep the sand out and damaging the phone =:)
  21. droiduser at 9:40am 4th December 2009 Motorola Droid w/2.0 Nav does "talk". I was looking at the HTC due to liking the shape better but it only had android 1.5 and doesn't talk but still does the nav.
  22. Ian Bell at 3:43pm 27th November 2009 Thats a great idea. Does the Google nav on the Droid talk while you drive? I think it uses the phone's GPS chip, which the iPhone was originally lacking.
  23. Chrizz at 12:43pm 27th November 2009 Dock seems really pretty cool. Looking forward to get my Droid (in Germany "Milestone") next week. Dock's already ordered as well.
  24. sum1 at 7:13pm 26th November 2009 What about the car mount? Amazing if your using google navigation
  25. Ian Bell at 4:01pm 26th November 2009 That alarm clock dock looks pretty sweet. If I had a droid I would get that.
  26. kbaumga1 at 11:22pm 25th November 2009 I guess it depends on the mfg. I have a a caes with magnetic closure and I haven't had any problems with my DROID.
  27. kwikwa at 10:51pm 25th November 2009 Leather cases that contain MAGNETIC closures will make your Droid phone wake-up and go into "Multi-media dock connected" mode. Droid will exit this mode when you remove it from case. Be sure to look for a velcro closure case!
