As if the imposing moving machinery that makes up the Bugatti Veyron wasn’t already an impressive site to behold barreling down any roadway, the French marquee recently revealed yet another makeover of its widely successful Bugatti Veyron at the Qatar Motor Show.
The Bugatti Veyron Sport is the latest attempt by the French automaker to individualize even further the current holder of the “world’s faster convertible” crown, which we can’t help but chuckle at considering the Veyron Sport’s already astronomical 1.4 million euro starting price.
While we can’t fault the French automaker for wanting to offer yet another uniquely colored model of the Bugatti Veyron Sport — chances are, if you can afford the princely sum, you’re already among the top one percent, and more than likely the need to stand out among the common rabble has all but been eliminated.
Taking inspiration from the company’s founder, Ettore Bugatti (black and yellow was said to be his favorite color combination), the striking new color design found on the new Veyron Sport is comprised of a lacquered carbon fiber located on the car’s front and side skirting, and is matched with sleek all black wheels. The rest of the car has been decked out in a rich yellow paint with a similar interior of yellow-clad seats featuring intricate black stitching and the opposite for the dashboard, wheel, and gear shifter.
Of course Bugatti’s trademark is anything if not unabashedly extravagant. Still, with the release of the new black and yellow model, the ultra-luxurious automaker has once again provided an unprecedented example of both automotive excellence and world-class style.
