Danish supercar Zenvo ST1 priced at $1.8 m with limited run of 15 cars

Young Danish Company Zenvo has finally brought to market its in-house-crafted sports car – the Zenvo ST1. Priced at a winter-chilling $1.8 million, the production model will be limited to a coveted batch of 15, making this expensive exotic somewhat of a collector’s item – albeit a very rich collector’s item.

Creating an original, exclusive, and luxury sports car is no easy task, especially ones made lovingly from hand, but that is what Zenvo’s Troels Vollertsen and Jasper Jensen set out to do. Under the carbon fiber hood, we find a 7-liter V8 engine that produces an astonishing 1250 horsepower and rockets the Zenvo ST1 from 0 to 62 mph in less than three seconds. Unfortunately, or maybe it’s for the best, but the top speed of the Zenvo is electronically controlled and limited to 233 mph. Of course, the Zenvo is more than merely a powerful engine. Adding to the car’s speed is its ultra-light body – it weighs only 3,020 pounds thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the car. Other notable features found on the Zenvo includes its heads-up display, hydraulic height-control, carbon wheels, handmade finished leather interior, triple-mode driving settings and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

It’s important to note that should you choose to opt-in and purchase one of these Danish delights, all body work, even minor, must be done by Zenvo itself and thus shipped to Denmark, with all costs incurred by the owner…although if you can afford the sticker price it probably won’t even matter.

One good starting point in the Alpine sale is the 2-way speakers for $104 instead of $130. You get two 2-way speakers with a polypropylene/glass fiber/mica woofer with a specialized rubber surround. There’s a one-inch silk dome tweeter with speakers able to handle up to 80 watts RMS with 240 watts peak power. The grilles aren’t included but the factor ones should be fine for most purposes.

Hyundai Ioniq 9: price, release date, range, and more
Hyundai Ioniq 9 Front

Hyundai has been at the forefront of EV development for a while now, largely thanks to the success of the crossover-sized Hyundai Ioniq 5. But the company is readying another new EV that could be even more popular than the Ioniq 5 -- or at least more desirable in the U.S., the land of big cars.

The upcoming Ioniq 9, previously set to be called the Ioniq 7, will be Hyundai's take on an electric SUV. It will be to Hyundai what the Kia EV9 is to Kia. It will have three rows and carry over design elements from the Ioniq 5.
