Say buon giorno to the newest member of the Maserati familia, the Maserati Kubang.
The Kubang was officially presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show and is an updated production-focused version of their previous SUV concept of the same name. The Maserati Kubang is based on the platform of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but features a typical Maserati body with stylized grille and iconic Trident. The headlights are LED and feature overstated vents to augment the bold look Maserati is aiming for in their latest model.
While no price or production date has been given at this time, the engines on the Kubang will reportedly be produced by Chrysler and Ferrari and feature an eight-speed automatic transmission.
