As recently reported, Motorola’s Droid for Verizon Wireless promises to be the world’s most advanced Android 2.0 smartphone (and strong competition for Apple’s iPhone 3G S) when it releases on November 6th for $200. We’re busy putting together our first impressions of the mobile handset, to be followed soon with a full review, including comparisons against other recent cell phone standouts. In the meantime though, here are a few recently released photos to feast your eyes on as we test what could be the hottest phone this holiday season, and first to offer Apple some strong competition.
