The Volvo SC90 concept car shows what the Swedish brand is capable of and could be slated for a 2015 release date.

Designed to compete with the likes of the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide (both 4-door sports cars), the Volvo SC90 is the brain child of designer Nouphone J. Bansasine. The SC90 would be Volvo’s flagship model and it meant to highlight the new “emotional direction” of the Swedish brand. Characterized by a convex and concave surfacing, the SC90 adds a simple and minimalistic design philosophy to a rather otherwise complex vehicle. We can’t wait to see if this imagined vehicle will hit the market in 2015.

  6. Acekard at 2:26pm 24th May 2010 It's certainly very ambitious of Volvo to be competing with the likes of Porsche. If the price is significantly lower to account for the less well known brand (in terms of performance / sports cars), I'm sure many would consider the SC90.
