Black Friday Ads: Best Black Friday 2009 Steals and Deals

Get the jump on Black Friday ads with our guide to Black Friday 2009's best steals and deals at retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, KMart and Sears.
Kmart, Sears, and other major retailers are featuring a wide variety of Black Friday sales on TVs, electronics, music, DVDs, and more. Also, Best Buy is bringing back their Black Friday VIP contest this year: a winner from each of 25 markets to allow them VIP access to Best Buy’s stores, the win includes perks such as early entrance and a $1,000 gift card.
Most store are keeping their Black Friday sales underwraps this early in November, but after some online sleuthing, here are some sale items we dug up:
Kmart

And notably, Walmart got a jump start on their Black Friday sales with a week of electronics savings. Beginning at 8 a.m. Nov. 7, Walmart will have its first of many special electronics savings events, including a week of electronics sales at stores through Nov. 13. Some items include:
- $298 HP Notebook Computer – 3GB memory, 160GB hard drive, Windows 7 Premium
- Sharp 1080p HDTVs – 42” for $498, 46” for $698 (120 Hz), 52” for $898 (120 Hz)
- Panasonic 46” 1080p plasma HDTV for $788
- Xbox 360 Arcade Console $199 with $100 Walmart Gift Card (for use on future purchases; minimum store quantities are at least 10 per store)
- $148 Sony Blu-ray player (model #BDP-S360)
- $29 Magnavox Upconvert DVD player (model #DP170MGXF, 1080p)

Smart phones aren't worth using on a continual basis without 3G so I gotta agree with Verizon on this one. So Verizon not showing non-3G coverage is fine since it doesnt really matter that much......
