Canon Debuts 4.3 Megapixel DVD Camcorder

The new Canon DC40, when it becomes available in March, will allow users to record directly to DVDs in 16:9 widescreen video.

Canon today announced a new DVD camcorder which sports a 4.3 megapixel CCD image sensor and has digital camera capabilities. The Canon DC40 is priced at $899 and should be available in March.
