Furthermore, it is among the industry-leading digital cameras, with a one-second startup and 0.01 second release time lag* (both values approximate) for quick response, ensuring you never miss a moment. Having introduced the first consumer-affordable digital camera in 1995, Casio is a pioneer in the digital camera market, delivering product and performance refinement while reducing the size of the camera and delivering greater ease-of-use to consumers. Casio has become synonymous with continually packing advanced, yet easy-to-use features and high-resolution capabilities into beautiful and practical compact digital camera designs such as the EXILIM line of super-slim digital cameras. This is why more and more people are making Casio their digital camera of choice.

The new QV-R51 compact digital camera packs a large 2.0” LCD screen, 5-megapixel CCD resolution and other advanced, useful features. Using the latest in LSI design, Casio has been able to further enhance its high-performance graphic engine, delivering superior performance with unbelievably realistic, high-resolution pictures, deliver nearly instantaneous startup and quick response, as well as improve the battery life to shoot as many as 900 pictures (2 1/2 hours) on a single charge. A large 2.0” LCD screen enables users to comfortably view the pictures taken and share the moment with friends and family.

“Today’s cameras are as much about style as performance, and the new QV-R51 comes in a superb aluminum body that delivers a premium look and feel,” said John Clough, president of Casio, Inc. “Coupled with all the features you have come to expect from Casio, this camera also includes useful features such as One-Touch buttons that let you start the camera up in either record mode or play mode instantly,” Clough said. The camera also has a Best Shot Mode with 21 settings built in to let you take clear, beautiful shots in any lighting conditions.
