CES 2006 Profile: Casio

Casio's main 2006 offering is a new Exilim digital camera which is ultra slim and takes 6 megapixel photos.

Casio trotted out a new Exilim digital camera at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. Dubbed the Exilim Card EX-S600, this ultra-slim, card sized digital camera is due out in March for $399.99.

The EX-S600′s highlighted features include shooting 6 megapixel photos, anti-shake technology and video recording of MPEG-4 movies. Also incorporated into this pocket sized camera, which will be available in silver, orange and blue colors, is 3x zoom, up to 300 shots per battery charge, a special mode for taking digital photos of old album photos and a bright, adjustable 2.2” color LCD.
