what is a single focus lens? FOCAL LENGTH is the term you aimed for and missed. having this person review this camera is like having a vegetarian review a steak restaurant.

In what ways did the viewfinder disappoint…or the lens? A little more information would be helpful in this 'review' of a much needed return to cameras designed for photography by people.

You mention that you're seeing " digital imaging companies showing off their compact DLSRs in vintage bodies" ... who else is doing this (other than Leica? And, what (comparable) Leica camera in terms of features/build comes near $2,000?

The X100 is not your average point and shoot, it's a rebirth.

how can your photo reviewer not know what a "Lyca" is, or how to spell LEICA?? i surely have lost all faith and trust in
"Molly" , or is it "Maulie". please find someone who really knows photography…..
