Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. today announced a price increase of up to 10 percent on DLTtape IVâ„¢ media. The new prices will take effect December 15th, 2003.
“Due to a change in business conditions, we find it necessary to raise prices,” said Steven Solomon, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Computer Products Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. “Fujifilm has exhausted all other possible cost reduction initiatives and is committed to continue to deliver a high quality, ultra reliable data cartridge.”
Fujifilm pioneered DLTtape IV media in 1995 and the company enjoys a significant market share position today. More than 100 million DLTtape IV cartridges have shipped worldwide since its introduction making DLTtape IV one of the most popular tape formats ever developed.
