JVC has a new high-def camera to add to its 2010 Everio lineup—the new Everio GZ-HM340. This new HD camcorder sports 16GB of internal flash memory, a 20x optical Konica Minolta zoom lens, 1.37 megapixel CMOS sensor, image stabilization, one-touch upload to YouTube, and an SD/SDHC card slot. JVC says the GZ-HM340 can easily create digital files and share them in a variety of formats with Everio’s MediaBrowser software for Windows, which now provides automatic conversion of HD and SD videos for immediate sharing on YouTube—that’s including both down-conversion and up-conversion. The company also says files can be directly exported to iTunes and synced with an iPod or iPhone, or burned to DVD—you know, for your personal convenience.
