Konica Minolta Photo Imaging will beincluding a trial version of ACDSee (ver. 5.0) digital imaging software with four DiMAGE digital still camera models sold in the U.S.
ACDSee digital imaging software allows users to import, view, organize, print, enhance and share their digital photos.
Beginning with factory shipments scheduled to reach dealers’ shelves around October 31, 2003, the company’s DiMAGE A1, DiMAGE Z1, DiMAGE E323 and DiMAGE X20 digital cameras will include a trial version of this world famous imaging software. The bundle will be expanded to include other DiMAGE camera models later in the year.
“We’re very excited to be able to offer this powerful and easy-to-use software to our digital camera customers,” said Jon Sienkiewicz, vice president of marketing for the Camera Division of Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. “We believe that the satisfaction and convenience consumers enjoy with ACDSee will complement and enhance their overall digital camera experience.”
In a related announcement, Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. revealed that their software engineers are currently working to develop a customized version of DiMAGE Messenger software that will act as a plug-in for ACDSee software. Additional details will be made available when the plug-in product is introduced.
