Nikon cuts prices of Coolpix cameras

Nikon announced new, lower prices on five of its most popular Coolpix (www.nikoncoolpix.com) digital cameras. These include the Nikon Coolpix 2100 and 3100, Coolpix 4300, Coolpix 5400 and Coolpix5700. In addition, Nikon also announced brand new consumer rebates on its three leading Coolscan desktop film scanners – the Super Coolscan 8000 ED, Super Coolscan 4000 ED and the Coolscan IV ED.With new pricing, Nikon now offers a Coolpix digital camera for photographers of all skill levels and needs.

The Nikon Coolpix 2100, now $199, and 3100, now $299, are both among the top in their respective categories. The Nikon Coolpix 2100 is a compact 2-megapixel digital camera, designed for the novice photographer and great for new moms and families. The award-winning Nikon Coolpix 3100, a 3-megapixel digital camera, is a constant favorite among reviewers and consumers alike.
