Pentax Announces Optio S7 Shooter

Pentax's new Optio S7 offers seven-megapixel resolution, movie mode, and 3x optical zoom at a price the company hopes will click with snapshooters.

Pentax has announced its new Optio S7 point-and-shoot consumer-oriented digital camera, featuring a 7 megapixel CCD, face-detection technology to assist in portraits, and an ISO as high as 1600 to help produce high-quality, sharp images even in poor light and nighttime conditions.
