Sony introduced a wide variety of new camcorders at this year's CES including a new SSD model.

Sony introduced 13 hard disk drive and flash memory based camcorders this year at CES along wit two new solid state hard drive models. All of Sony’s new handycams feature a back-illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS sensor and select models include a wide angle G lens. Sony’s new solid state HDR-AX2000 camcorder records 1080/24p and 30p footage and will sell for about $3,500.
