Can someone comment about being able to burn HD video to a DVD and view on non-HD DVD player. Concern is that this will not be possible.

Can someone comment about being able to burn HD video to a DVD and view it on a non-HD DVD player. Concern is that HD video will not be able to transfer to non-HD DVD.

I'd appreciate any additional feedback on this camcorder, particularly as to the following: image quality in low light; image quality with zoom; compatibility with video editing software.

Since when is MPEG4 having a worse quality MPEG2, thats is simply not true. At same Bitrate´s it typically has a better quality.

Kind of a useless product unless you can get 40GP out of a SD card. How much recording do you think you could get on a 1GB SD memory card?
