Sony Japan Temporarily Halts DSC-T11 Sales

Sony Japan is halting sales of its new slim 5 Mega Pixel camera until a bug can be fixed. We expect to see the DSC-T11 back on store shelves soon though.

“The story comes to us from good friend Yamada Kumio of the digitalcamera.jp website. Yamada-san links to a Sony announcement (available in Japanese only) detailing the reason for the announcement, which will see the camera shipping once more at the end of the month. According to the Sony announcement, initial users have reported problems with the finish of the camera flaking off when the camera is bumped or scraped against a hard object.”
