Danny McBride and MLB 14: The Show explain why baseball is better

According to actor and comedian Danny McBride, baseball is just better, and in the clip above he makes a fairly compelling argument as to why.

In the video titled “Anthem,” McBride give a few good reasons why baseball is better. He cites a few facts, including gems like “Baseball is better than babies – there’s no crying in baseball,” and “There’s no clock in baseball … baseball decides when it’s over.” The video is one part ad, one part announcement trailer. MLB 14: The Show is available now for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, but the PlayStation 4 version won’t be released until May.

McBride has been all over the place the last few years, but one of his most visible roles has been that of Kenny Powers. In the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down McBride played Kenny Powers, a slightly washed up Big League pitcher that lives in a world of his own. McBride isn’t sporting Powers’ trademark mullet, but it’s tough to see the actor in a baseball uniform and not make that connection.

MLB 14: The Show will be re-released for the PlayStation 4 on May 6, 2014. Until then check out some reasons for why baseball is better.
