Microsoft’s Courier vs. Apple’s iPad Tablet: Who Wins? – While people are going gaga over leaked photos and videos of Microsoft’s Courier tablet, and whispering about Steve Jobs working nonstop to launch the iPad tablet, another viable tablet has been slipping under the radar. The Archos 9 tablet will hit store shelves this month, running a full version of Windows 7. The panel critiques the specs on this early entry, talks timetables for both the Courier and iPad, and speculates about what kind capabilities all three tablets will need to have to make it in this fickle market.

Evan Evangelou at 10:11pm 1st February 2010 I think the ipad will suceed, remember the sceptics when the iphone was launched. As for the lack of this or that it took 4-5 genrations of ipod nano's to get a radio !
IT people hate products that dont cover all bases the public will buy the sucker & new apps that we havnt even thought of will make it the product we pick up when we get home to see whats going on around us. Want to work use a computer , want to relax and surf use a ipad.

$600 for an iPish and it can't even emulate a 3c pencil.

You can watch youtube in HD, genius. They have have almost as many shows on there as Hulu. Why can't you write on there, knave? Is it because you're semi-literate?

A tablet without handwriting? Who thought that one up? I always thought that was the whole point of a tablet.
No multitasking? When was the last time anyone saw a computer that can't even walk and chew gum? 1997?
No Flash? No Java? Can't even display Apple's own website.
No stylus? Can't draw. Can't write.
Removable battery? Forget it.

Just what is the point of this piece of utter rubbish? Lets face it. That's exactly what it is.

iPad? iFad more like. iPass.
