NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2016 – LG Electronics has partnered with DigitalTrends.com to release a 3-part video series paying homage to the best of viral videos, in celebration of the recently announced LG V20 smartphone.

Shot entirely on the LG V20, the first video will hail internet sensation “Damn Daniel” and also featuring other original video creators alongside additional LG surprises.

“The V20 was built with storytellers in mind.  With our new viral video series, we revisit some of the modern classics that we all love, but re-imagined as if they were captured on the V20,” said Matt Ward, Director, Digital Marketing, LG Electronics MobileComm USA, Inc. “How better for us to show the benefits of the powerful new V20 features – including Steady Record 2.0 and HiFi Video Recording – than by giving these videos new life.”

To prove the audio and video recording capabilities of the LG V20, the remainder of the viral video films and vocals were recorded with the device. Additionally, the V20 also boasts new features including Hi-Fi Quad DAC, HD Audio Recorder and front and rear wide-angle lens cameras to deliver incredible performance. It is also the world’s first smartphone to come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and the new Google In Apps phone search function.

DigitalTrends.com will unveil the remaining two LG V20 videos in October; stay tuned for more.
