Vista

I hope you two aren’t using Norton anti-virus with Vista… it is not compatable and will shut your system down, I only know this because for some reason HP shipped a friends laptop with Vista and Norton on it… it worked for about 3 days… then it just started to slow down and stopped booting and then… blue screen, it was quite difficult to get it off of there too, and I had no idea what the problem was… but eventually a CS guy finally got on and asked me if I was using norton… anyways if you get a vista machine and you are a norton user, do not install it on your new OS

I agree with Tarso i just got my m15x and ive only had it 4 days and it has blue screened me at least 7 times already. I am contacting alienware about it to see if there is a fix yet, if not i will be returning my system for a different model.

I regret buying it!

It all sounded great but I bought this machine with the exact same configuration and honestly I deeply regret it! I paid over $4000 for a machine that is giving me blue screen errors every single days. I have spent over 10 hours with their tech support, and they still can’t figure this out!! From BIOS upgrade to memory test to a bed video card. They just can’t find out! Today I called custumer service to get my money back and they still want to charge me a restocking fee!! I just can’t believe the amount of trouble I had to go through for $4000!
