I recently bought this product. It did not work at all. Scan tuning did not work. I am returning it. I went out and bought a $25.00 Sentry ho800 from Walmart. It works great! The only down side is that it doesn’t come with a transformer. It chews up 9 volt batteries.

AHP612 is a good product when it works. I had to send back the first unit. Kept cutting out and the sound was static laced. They replaced it without any problem. The second unit works fine, but the ear-piece where the battery located does not snap on. It’s a manufacturing quality defect that I can overlook. It’s not worth it to send this unit back to be replaced. Altec Lansing offered me select any other unit free of cost. It is such a minor issue with the ear-piece that I declined. I really enjoy the clear sounds from my TV. If you have a hearing problem, I would recommend this unit.
