Fantastic speakers for the price

I got these for $80 on sale from the Apple store to use with my gaming PC. I was very impressed, though its difficult to max out the volume (as it is generally with most speakers). There is crackling and such. Though the bass is amoung the best I’ve heard for sub $100 speakers, the highs tend to get dominated by the loud bass with some contemporary music, less so with classic rock.
They don’t take up a lot of space, and have the handy auxiliary input (for mp3 players, and look extremely stylish. They definitely complement my gaming set up (which I won’t say is devoid of several unnecessary LEDs).
While I’m not a particular audiophile, I tend to have more of an ear than the average person, these have definitely been impressive, and you can’t argue the price. Also no trouble hardware wise, very dependable.
