The Amazon Kindle DX features a 9.7-inch display, 2.7-inches larger than the Kindle 2. Other exciting features of the larger Kindle include 3G wireless connectivity and native PDF support. The extra screen space is bringing along some extra attention as The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post are all planning pilot programs for the DX. The bigger display also appeals to textbook publishers, with some of the leading publishers on board with producing textbooks for the Kindle DX.
