I wished that I had an iPhone after the first time I saw it in my friend’s hand. I’m not able to purchase it now, but I hope that I have it in the future when I have the cash. I just want to say two words, that iPhone is really an aPhone and it truly deserves that name.

I love the iphone – it was my first smart phone and I honestly can’t imagine using another smart phone. From the design, to the software, it’s truly a great phone. For Apple to get so many things right on their first phone development is amazing – but not unexpected – It’s awesome to see Apple shake up the world of cell phones and make the other manufacturers wake up and design better.

The crowning of the king of smartphones. The iPhone 3G.

The iPhone 3G is a great smartphone. It’s graphical interface is amazing almost life like, really pretty. The concept of the app store is the same as the widgets we use on the Mac and maybe Vista. It allows us the consumers to be free to chose what we need for our phones and not be stuck with customized software like for example Vcast. The app store is amazing for its wide variety of application software (apps) that it has to offer. These apps enhance the capabilities of the phone and we can either buy or get them for free. Imagine downloading one apps to stream news or to locate nearby businesses or even help you to locate exactly where you are and show you moving position in realtime. So much for those costly GPS systems. Apple really nailed the market, only this time its the telecom market. Palm used similar methods for their line of Treo brands but with the price being high for a lot of apps and the Os being buggy they never could survive hence their windows partnership. Apple seemed to have just stayed away from this market long enough to observe the ups and downs of a lot of these other smartphone companies. It really pays sometimes to not be the first eg Sonys PS3. The iPhone 3G is worth every penny and At&t seems to be realizing how important it is that’s why their services have been dramatically improving especially call quality. I cannot imagine what else Apple has in store for us well maybe, a tablet based off of the iPhone touch screen.

I love my iPhone 3G

I got my iPhone 3G a couple days after it was released, by chance. Every where near our house was sold out, but a local mall happened to still have them at their Apple store.
I never had a first gen. I refused to buy it until a 3G version came out.
Anyways, I love it. The iPhone apps totally make the phone as well. I love being able to listen to streaming music using Pandora. My wife loves the games. I’m happy it has built-in speakers so we can play music while we sit outside watching the kids or in the backyard bbq’ing.
The additional feature are the phone are enough for me (call reception, address book, email, etc), I just need to get used to typing on it.
