Great sound - almost addictive

Clarity, Detail, Smooth, AWESOME
You can throw all CDP’s into your neighbors’ yard with this card. I did it yesterday and haven’t been caught yet. This card truly proves that you can get excellent sound out of a PC, in ANALOG. All my tracks seemed to be given a new life, many details of musician’s talents are revealed – that’s what we call music. Not the crap we heard on Creative junk.

Excellent Choice

I can’t agree more with this review.
I got it from NewEgg weeks ago, and since then I literally found my new difinition of PC Hi-Fi. I use my Beyerdynamic DT990 (600ohm)with my Xonar Essence STX, the performance compared with my previous settings, protable amp + X-Fi XtremeMusic, was like heaven and earth. The base is beautifully powerful, and the highs are crispy clear. The point is, the background is pitch black, I really had to double check again to make sure the system is still running.
Anyways, great choice for music lovers audiophiles.
if you use FLAC, you CAN’T miss this card.
