I have never reviewed ANYTHING before but this is so good that just I had to.
My wife wanted a dock for the iPhone.
I bought an AltecLansing on the strengh of being a “Which” best buy.
It sounded sad and fluffy. – and was returned the same day.
She said that she wanted a bose dock – John Lewis had the bose and B&W docks to compare. While the bose was better than the Altec ,even in a busy dept store the b&w sounded loads smoother, better, cleaner.
We have had it for the weekend and it is simply put, stunning.
‘it just works!’ the sound balance is dynamically tweaked by digital signal processors as the volume changes – eh? Well it means that even when at low volume – it sounds superb, and that is how it will be used most of the time. (it also does loud)
I thought that my wife would choke on the cost but we are both smitten. Over the weekend we had a number of visitors who owned the bose dock – they were sad. This kit is better than my HiFi and I like that. It isn’t big like people say, comapre it to soemthing else that sounds this good and this is a comact package.
The difference between this and other docks that I have listened to is so extreme that it makes the rest shabby.
Don’t mess about whatever the space, outside, large room or studio flat it will be excellent, get one and you will not regret it. Proper quality.

not only striking design

Let’s be honest: you definitely first fall in love with the superb finishing: an absolute gem of modern industrial design. THE SOUND: just park any other piece of junk previously engineered for I-pod: B&W Zeppelin is the ONLY one in the market who has been seriously trying to match an analog-like listening session experience. So far it is a must, it is worth the cost.
