I don’t like the fact that I am getting blurry pictures. I don’t know why, everytime I take a quick pic it comes out blurry. Other than that I like the camera.

I received this camera for christmas and have continually been amazed.

One of the best things about this camera is the amount of customization that can be achieved with chdk (google it) you can far exceed the specs of the camera (f stops to f14, iso up to 2500, 1/10000 shutter with high speed flash sync, ability to run scripts like intervelometer, motion detection etc).

In summary this camera may not have all the modes of a casio but it can deliver amazing results that outmatch it’s price.

This camera is more reliable and picture quality is no doubt very good.

I bought the A720IS on the recommendation of Consumer Reports. Basically it’s as good as any digital, except for the red-eye reduction – IT DOESN’T WORK – I have to remove the red-eyes from almost every picture I take. My last digital (Samsung) did not have this problem. Canon offered no help and advised me to keep editing out the red-eyes on the computer. Problem with that is not only how long it takes to enjoy your pictures, but you can’t display them in a digital frame if you want to just plug in the SD card. I won’t buy another Canon.

I attended a power-point presentation and shot each screen. Focus was spot on.

Video function is a vast improvement over the A520.
