I’ve been using this around NYC for the past few weeks. It’s been absolutely perfect. The optical image stabilizer is far better than any of the other digicams on the market and comes in handy when taking pictures indoors, in dim light, or at night. The time-to-shoot is really fast. Lastly, I actually like where the power button is, it prevents you from accidentally hitting it in your pocket.
I was in the air between a DSLR (Nikon D40) and this; went with this one because you can carry it in your pocket. It’s certainly not an SLR, but it’s an 85-90% substitute.
