With enough light, pretty good

The comment about the fluorescnet lighting isn’t true in my case: In fact, the best results are obtained with fluorescent lighting. I am sitting at a Kinko’s right now and the camera is capturing pretty good images under the fluorescent light here. Daylight captures are laso quite good (for such a small camera).
At home, with just a desk light, it’s a different picture. This camera definitely needs a good lightsource to work properly.
But to say it is garbage is just not true.

Don’t waste your money on this; it is absolutely unusable under flourescent lighting and the image quality is the worst I have ever seen from a webcam (and I’ve evaluated dozens of them).

Very poor image quality

This is a great looking compact, sleek little camera, however it is let down by very grainy image quality regardless of the conditions, and extremely poor performance in low light conditions.
