I’ve had this camera a couple of months now and LOVE IT! IT’s really cool. I just found out about the waterproof case that you can get for it. IT takes really clear pictures and the macros setting is wicked. Really clear up close pictures. The ISO rating is excellent compared to alot of expensive cameras

The Fuji F10 had the qualities that I wanted the most. These are things my current camera sucked at.
#1 long battery life…the F10 is amazing. I went to vegas shot 300+ photos with out charging.
#2 fast startup and photo shooting,…it super fast booting up and picture taking is very fast
#3 dark settings…I use the manual settings and usually take a couple practice shots. It is unreal, I almost never choose to shoot with a flash. This helps out in places that you stand out for doing. Also no red eye from flash. My cat always look great.
#4 Fit in front pocket without worry…the back screen is super sturdy plastic over the lcd which is a great feature.

As far as the negative things people have said about the camera don’t really come into play. The Cord and the viewfinder, don’t brother me and probably wouldn’t change it if I could. My only negative would be that I find myself not using the Automatic mode and tryin taking a perfect photo each time with manual mode.

All in all this camera is very compariable to high end cameras. I was a big fan of canon, but the 4 features above the F10 is the top notch.

This camera takes very good pictures. It does excellent with low light situations. Would be nice if it had some more manual settings but no more often than I would use them I can hardly complain. The battery life is amazing. I was hesitant to get a camera that didn’t take standard AAs but I have no regrets at all now.

It is sad sometimes to see that the F10 is not more popular (being overtaken by cameras like the Canon Sd series) when it takes equivalent and often times better quality pictures than many supposedly better cameras.

There’s really not much to complain about the camera besides sticking with manual mode. But this is because the camera usually likes to choose higher ISO settings than necessary, a firmware problem.

The LCD itself also has a very sturdy design, which I can’t say the same about many other compact digital cameras these days.

Also 1gb xD cards these days can be had online for around $90 (after shipping and tax) while 512mb xD cards can go for around $70 after fees.

I’ve had my F10 for a month now and have been extremely please with what this camera can do. It does take some effort (ie. manual settings) to get this gem to perform to it’s magic, but the results outweigh the small investment. Not necessarily the best as a POS but certainly not a toy when you want to put it to work.
