I believe this is a USER Review!

As usual the first two reviews are by Gateway or Intel basher morons, that don’t even have “user” experience! Goes to show their IQ.
We tested the loaded 700XL for two full months as an off-the-shelf DV editor and we were very impressed with the systems performance and the AAA quality of design and manufacture. The dual 250 MB SATA RAID Hard Drives are a class touch any pro DV editor would wish for.
Gateway out classes Dell or Sony with this level of machine. Neither of the former mentioned have anything to come close.

You can do a lot better with a white box system. And you would not be stuck with Intel. You could use a more powerful and cheaper AMD Processor.

coming from gateway, this machine actually looks pretty decent (hardware and asthetically).
I still wouldn’t buy one though.

As far as premade systems go, the 700XL rocks. The 2 18″ LCD monitors are sweet looking and perfect for those with a lot of work on their desktop. The case is huge though….overall a killer system.
