The day after I bought it the power button got stuck and wouldn’t power on. Sent in to get fixed and when I received it back the screen flickers extremely bad when turning on, and for at least the first 2 minutes of powered up. The touch pad has never worked correctly and every time I send the computer back the incompetant technicians never fix the computer. Now the warranty is expired and will not fix anything that I orginally asked them to when I bought the damn thing!!! Dont EVER buy gatway. Get Toshiba!!!

I paid for XP Pro and got XP home. The customer service is atrocious. Casing broken at hinges and the Display blinks. The system is slow. My liking for Gateway is History.

I use it for music downloads, internet browsing. It works pretty good for that. Gaming isn’t all that great though.

After receiving the M520S+ as a gift less than 4 months ago the silver casing around the display hinges are already splitting apart. Customer support/Warranty service has been horrible! It is a heavy, overly bulky and for the most part slow machine. Save your money, buy a real notebook!
