TV doesn't turn on

It seems if you hit the button to turn on the TV too many times it will mess it up. My baby keeps going up to turn it on off on off all the time. The only way to reset it is to unplug it for 10 seconds then plug it back in, and hit the power only one time and it’ll turn back on. If your TV ever stops working and won’t turn on try and unplug then try again.

We’ve had the TV just about two years. Beautiful pic and all the user features. However, the power unit has burned out twice already. as of this writing, the TV will not come on. Luckily, we bought the extended warranty. Wonder if there is a recall?? lol

I’ve had a 51S715 for over a year and have spent over countless hours trying to get it to come on. Whenever there is a power outage or the unit is unplugged it I must wait 24-72 hours and then power it on and off several times with my fingers crossed hoping it will work. After about 20 minutes of this I usually give up for another day and then try it again.

Excellent Hdtv with a great picture in all formats. Nice looking cabinet and thinner than most CRT’s of it’s size. Easily tweakable with user menus and magic focus.HDTV is awesome, dvd’s equally so! Best T.V. I’ve ever seen or have ever owned!
