I'm a degreed electrical engineer and this thing has me pulling my hair out. I've spent countless hours trying to get it to control my Pioneer PDP 5010 flat screen, and Yamaha receiver. If I get an individual component working then the Express or Air Slide won't. It won't recognize many head-head presets, and try to find codes for a DirecTV H20 receiver; Sony won't even answer that one. They have no intention at this time of keeping their WEB site current with new IR codes. The "All Off" button is truly a mystery, sometimes it will show up on the PC software wizard sometimes not, and it sends out all kinds of screwy signals. Extremely frustrating to program, and the manuals, let's say, they lose something in translation. I've even contacted Sony who has me elevated into their tier 3 engineering resolution process for some of the bugs I've found, but they have yet to fix any of them. I think at this point I know more about this product than they do. If you contact Sony's customer support you will talk to a tier 1 person in India for at least an hour trying to get them to understand you have a problem. At best they will just refer you back to the manual. Customer support for this is horrible!

If you're looking for something that's easy to program and works right out of the box forget it.

There are definitely better products out there other that this especially at this price.
