I purchased the m7100y with the Dual Core 830 engine, and after a month of use I rate setup, performance, and use a 10/10. My only complaint is that technical support, while easy to get on the phone, was not all that savvy to the new Windows XP Media Center software. I have a home network, and spent a few hours trying to get my HP computer to print to my HP Photosmart. Techies got me part way, but couldn’t solve problem of setting up printer via USB direct and then putting printer on Enet network. I eventually found the printer option to switch USB to Enet, but HP support was unaware of this fix.

FAST Computer! Love the LCD 17″ monitor. All software runs GREAT. And so far, the XP Media Center program has been flawless.

PS. I had a dell for 5 years, bought the HP because I could no longer get a Dell Rep to pick up phone before the batteries died on house phone (= 2 hours). Loved DELL for first 3 years, but they have gone south.
