The best Ipod dock for the price!

If you shop around you should be able to find this unit for under $200, and for that price there really is no other choice. I purchased the Radial a couple years ago, and because of a careless accident it was destroyed. It was very well used though. I loved it and I definitely got my money out of it. So I needed a replacement. I listened to the Bose Sounddock, which many people say is the best, and came away thinking that it sounded flat, without good bass, and some of the reviews weren’t too favorable, especially considering the top price you pay. So I’m going back to the Radial. It never let me down and always impressed people wherever we went. The sound has a huge dynamic range with great bass response. And this thing gets loud! Too loud for a house party. I’m looking forward to receiving my new one.

I feel that the JBL Radial is awesome. Sound is terrific comparable to Bose. I plugged it up to let my co- workers here it in our break room, and they all asked is that a Bose? The RF remote is cool, and can completely function your iPod. You can even turn on and off from remote by holding the play button for 3 secs. Alot of people have said the remote is tricky and wish it was more intuitive. I disagree, because there are Blue/Orange light indicators which you can follow. Blue light is for volume and changing tracks, and the Orange light in to navigate the iPod. The square button changes modes, indicated by blue/orange lights. I thought JBL was very inovative in figuring out that a remote control doesn’t have to be very large to do everything you need done. Let’s just say they made a believer out of me, GREAT Things do come in Small packages! I am impressed with the bass that the built in subwoofer puts out on this system. I played Diana Ross’s hit “I’m Coming Out” and it started shaking the table. (Very impressive for such a small unit). I am so glad I purchased this JBL Radial-High Performance iPod Speaker Dock, this has been by far one of my better investments. (5 Stars all the Way!) Finally, I just like to add that I purchased the white one, and it looks great with my silver/black iPod Nano (4th Gen) Excellent Futuristic Design- Also if you shop around this JBL Radial will hardly break your Bank.

This is the best sounding system you can have for your ipod!
However, after an hour or so, the ipod freezes up, I have to reset it and then plug it back in and it works fine.

The JBL Radial is the best sound I've ever heard!

I tried out the Bose and the Radial in the Sharper Image store recently. I used my own iPod so as to hear the classical pieces I’m used to hearing and the sound is phenomenal on the Radial. The Bose sounded good, but it can’t compete with the JBL Radial!!! The range is great top to bottom with the middle great also. Many times they are ignored. It doesn’t lack for bass, either if that’s your thing. I listened to some rock on it and it delivers great bass. It has a wide range of equalizer choice. I’ve never heard anything deliver any better music unless it is the real instruments live, and I’m not so sure they can be any better! I’m buying one of these Radials this week. Absolutely a 10+!!!
